Kylie is back!

In 2005 Kylie Minogue was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent surgery and chemotherapy. Her tour was postponed as a result of her illness and she will restart it with concerts in November in her home country.
I like this singer, for me she is like the little sister of Madonna, don't know why, maybe same style & compared ages :P

"All I want to say is that to be here three, four years after last time -- personally, I'm just thrilled to be here and to be with guys I know and love, and to be creative again, to be inspired, and dazzled by everything on that runway. It's nice to work with people you've got a history with. " - Kylie Minogue

I'll see Elton John!!!

Today I've received an email from Think Quest announcing the concert that we will attend during my stay in USA if i get the visa tomorrow. Tonight I'm departing with the train from my town and after 5 hours i will be in Bucharest. The interview is at 10:30 AM Romania time, so people wish me luck I'll need it!!!!!!!!!! Here's the email:

Dear Mr. Militaru,

We are writing because you have registered for the Appreciation Event featuring an exciting concert by Sir Elton John on Tuesday, October 24 in San Francisco. We have been working closely with the OpenWorld team over the summer and have some very important updates regarding the event. We realize that the updated information (provided below) may affect your decision to attend the Appreciation Event:

  • If you do NOT want to attend the Appreciation Event anymore, please reply to this message by Friday, September 29. We will cancel your registration for this activity, and you will have free time instead. Please note: 1) If you are traveling with a Chaperone you cannot attend without him/her; 2) Chaperones cannot attend the Appreciation Event unless accompanying you.
  • If you do still want to attend the Appreciation Event, you do not need to do anything. If we don't receive a reply from you, we will assume that you do still want to attend and will leave your registration as is.
Updates: 1) There will be 20,000+ OpenWorld attendees at the Appreciation Event. You have been granted special entry but we are strictly limited to a private, no-alcohol area. 2) The current schedule (tentative and subject to change) is as follows:
  • We will depart the Parc 55 Hotel at approximately 6:45 pm and arrive at the Appreciation Event by 7:15 pm.
  • 7:15 - 8:00 pm: We will take a tour of the event facility.
  • 8:00 - 11:30 pm: There will be some opening acts, and then Elton John is scheduled to perform from approximately 10:30 - 11:30 pm.
  • We will depart the Appreciation Event at approximately 11:30 pm, which means it is very likely you will not be back at the hotel until midnight. Please note that workshops start at 9:00 am the next day.
Thank you for your attention, and please remember to respond to this email if you no longer wish to attend the Appreciation Event. As always, please also feel free to contact us with any questions. Regards, Staff

The day that i will die

Today I had a little talk with the guys on the local network chat and one of them sent me a link to a website that tell you the exact day you die and how many seconds you have to live. Pretty cool, if you believe all that sh*tt. Well I did it anyway and this is when I will day :D

Dacia Logan Break

Two years after launching Dacia's Logan model, the new model Logan Break will be presented at the Auto Saloon in Paris on Thursday. Here are some exclusive pictures of our romanian car:

The Break takes some important characteristics from big sister The Logan Steppe, presented on march this year, like the horizontal opening of the trunk doors and the narrow back stop lights.

The president of Dacia Automobile, Luc Alexandre Menard, has declared that the Logan Break is especially for large families and people which have commercial activities.

The prices for the Break model will be between 6.400 and 10.000 euros.

Logan has been sold in more than 300.000 models since it left for the first time the factory, being a full success for the auto industry in Romania after the group Renault bought the Dacia company. Some pics with the first born Logan:

Her new look as a traditional alpine woman, outfit consisting of a snug bodice with a low neck wrapped around a lacy blouse, along with a full skirt and apron, was a blast.
