A weekend to remember

The title sounds like the well known movie “A walk to remember”, but it does not only sound like that, it really was like that. Three weeks ago I met someone special that made me feel what I feel today. We fell in love from that moment and everything else went in my shadow. A look into those eyes and I was in there for eternity.

Last weekend I had to stay at my dorm because my parents were away at my grandparents’ house, grandpa was very sick and this Sunday he passed away.

After a good planning of the weekend I was invited to Cluj-Napoca to spend the weekend with the one. I departed excited on Friday morning with the bus to Cluj-Napoca, not knowing how things would work out and hoping that things will be the same. At 1 pm I was in Cluj-Napoca and of course somebody was waiting there for me, a person who makes my heart beat faster
J every time we meet/kiss/touch … . We rented a room in a pay-per-night dorm and that was our house for 2 magical days.

Friday we spent the day in room, catching up on what we missed for 2 weeks, 2 weeks of distance. No more details cause you can imagine what happened there :P. We had delicious food (fish, honey & cheese, yummy!) combined with a good red wine, red cause I wanted that way
J.

There was a bit of a trouble with the music, cause we just can’t agree on music :P.The next day I was awaken by a kiss that I still feel on my lips.

After we packed all our stuff (we had to free the room by 12) we went to eat and see an apartment. In the afternoon we went to Belvedere, hoping we have a great view of the city, but big was our disappointment when we noticed that the whole city was covered with a very thick fog. Didn’t matter anyway… the road there was nice & very cold.

We hung around there some minutes till it was dark because we wanted to take pictures with Cluj by night. When we were down from there, we were frozen to death or at least just me and we decided to go in a fast food called Speed or Alcatraz which was very cool! It looked just like the Alcatraz prison, were I was this autumn :P .

After enjoying a great meal and a cold sweet beer we continued out “journey” on the streets of Cluj Napoca, taking lots of pictures.

When the picture-tour was finished we went to the train station cause i didn't return to Sibiu, I decided to go to Copsa-Mica and from there to Sibiu. And boy that was a big mistake!!! I took the train by night, which I promise I will never ever do again. After a sad eye to eye goodbye with the person that now just won’t get out of my head, I was on the train.

The trip was almost 4 hours, surrounded by horrible and stinking gypsies. When I reached my native town I thanked God I arrived safely. I spent the night at some family friends with home cooked food and smooth bed
J. On Sunday I was back at my dorm happy as I never was and thinking about the next weekend when I we are again together.

In conclusion, distance sucks, but love can bring you closer than you ever dreamed and when it does, you forget all the things around there & enjoy life’s immortal passions.

Lotrioara Experience

Last weekend I was in a student camp in the mountains. At first i thought it will be one of those 2 days' crazy parties, drinking & having fun or climbing on the mountains, stuff like that. But that weekend was very different.
The Fitzuica Group is a group which wants to raise the morale and cultural values of the Romanian students. I think it's a great idea, cause today when you hear the word "student" the first thing that comes in your mind is a young person away from home with crazy ideas and strange behaviour.
But I was very surprised to realize that Fitzuica's ideas come from religion, and religion has an important role in the group. Since I joined the group the first time , I'm going weekly to their meetings to discuss with them on different subjects as leadership, principles in life, xmas, your self image, love etc.
The weekend that i spent with them was a very peaceful one, a weekend for the soul. We had fun activities divided in groups, like getting to know other people or making different scenarios.
After all this time spent at Fitzuica made me think about my relationship with God, which till now it didn't even exist and it makes me wonder on some days if what I'm doing on this earth right now is good or I'll end up in Hell (if it exists). Since I'm trying to be an engineer, i doubt everything that it isn't a fact, a thing that i can touch/see, but one thing I'm sure, there is a God.

Me dreaming.... :P

Back From Mother Nature

This weekend i was away in the mountains at a chalet on the Lotrioara river valley. The experience was very interesting, 3 days isolated from the rest of the world, with no signal at your mobile phone. But now I'm so exhausted and i don't have any pictures yet, so i will end this entry short.
